I'm genuinely curious as to why most(if not all) of the democrats at the SOTU didn't applaud for record low unemployment for African Americans and women. If you're a Democrat and you were there would you have applauded? I'm just trying to understand the logic behind it and maybe see your reasoning.

Who knows? Because they're racists? I'm not doing reasoning here, I'm just reporting facts.

If you want me to speculate, it could be because the better things are for blacks, the more of them will vote for Trump. The Dems are terrified that blacks will learn that they can escape the plantation and vote for whomever they like. The poorer they are the better.
