He was going up against the Clinton machine, which basically took over the entire DNC and gutted it to get her installed as POTUS. That machine mostly fell apart since then. They used almost all the resources of the DNC for one end, and that task failed.

i got a bridge, wanna buy it? DNC is still corrupt. Sure, Hillary isn't running now, but their pal Biden is and they want him in there. I just highly doubt they will allow bernie in, they easily rig their primary. Bernie went along with it once too so what is the risk for them to do it again, he speaks out? Not if they give him money for another lake house. Either the money or him being afraid of his grandkids being killed either way like you said. Why not both, you can't beloieve they threatened and bought him off, let him choose to be killed along with his grand kids, or take $600 k and buy a new home, easy decision huh? So why does he run again, kind of hard being that old with heart problems. Well he gets another pay off, helps his grandkids even more.
