Yup it doesn't break any rules. We really only have like 5 rules, you can read them here: https://saidit.net/s/SaidIt/comments/j1/the_saiditnet_terms_and_content_policy/

We could raise the minimum wage to a living wage

Not good enough let's try this we currently have 160 million employees in America about 50% of workers earn less that 15.00 an hour. That's 80 million people. The average when implimented is 5 dollars an hour raise for all of them when implimented. My math here. 80 million people get a 5dollar an hour raise. Thats 400 million dollars an hour everyday all with out any tax. Have you ever heard of the story of the volosity of money? Every dollar spent in your home town is worth as much as a hundred dollars as it moves up to the filthy rich. The economy stupid. Money my man. Greenbacks in the hands of spenders. A medical system for everyone. Huge savings almost 12 trillion in ten years. We could end a war by ending pelosi and her mom. We could get trump to fucking stay home and stop golfing at his own clubs paying himself with our money but the most important thing is wages.

Well I'm glad you found a calling not everybody has this luxury. Let's face it there are parts of this country that have no jobs but fast food and Wallyworld. So does your job give you Bennie's? Health care and vision and dental pto vacations and paid family leave? Do they pay you enough that you don't have to pay SSI? Do ya get weekends off and profit sharing. If so please thank a union member. Those things only came about because of labor. Ignoring the facts is not a real answer you know that. Unless you really are an island on to yourself only I'd say that's a lonely place to be. It just me. And 80 or 90 million good hard working folks salute you now don't pull up the ladder.

Cool I got a friend no is not as lucky. Works at Wally world 13 years. Has insurance and an illness that cost $ 4500 a month to maintain. The insurance pays 3600 of that he kicks in $900. Every month. He a manager makes 14.00 an hour. In the town he lives and can't afford to move from is fast food and wallyworld. The messed up system is a direct effect of property and income. Stuck is no way to be working 50 hour aweek+ keeping a roof over ones head with 0 mobility to change a thing. We broke it we should fix it. I think the word I'm looking for is pawn.

The minimum wage shouldn't be a living wage. Minimum wage should be what teenagers get before developing their skills. The question here is: "Why aren't adults developing their skills?". And that I don't know. In theory, the free market should take care of this. But it isn't. Why? Too much regulation?

          [–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (12 children)

The pay you receive is not only based only on your skills 😉 it is based upone what we say it is. 7.25 is a joke get over it we should be saving billions by ending the wealfare to companies that force workers to use social services. No one should be making less. Than a living wage. I say 15 is just a start. You can't think they do not deserve to be paid that because you say they deserve to be some how less of a important person making scale. Lol and Fu. Market is a funny word, the market is what we say it is by our own spending the engine to make the economy and a raise for all of us is the way to fix a broken system. I will add this 400 million dollars an hour of new spending is the greatest thing America can do to build our economy you can blame the worker but you know it's government sucking the d#ck of the filthy rich. You should be able to at least admit McDonald's won't even feel the raise. It less that 1% of operating cost. At 15 an hour. I'm willing to pay a extra penny to end the corporate welfare we created because we let them not touch that number since the 70s lol raise the minimum wage and do it often I say yearly then you can bitch about kids being paid too much of the pie.untill then simply stop being a asshole about any idea that makes us what we are a worker not a slave. Medicare for all and free public college all amazing for the good of all Americans anything less is a republican and Democrat talking point. Not a progressive policy. Enjoy your poverty tax cause that is what you really are saying bigger government taking care of the working poor. That is crazy talk. Do better. Fuck the free market it is designed to break you and keep you poor. No worker deserves that. Address the issue. The real issue is if I could pay you less I would. you know I am right.

Are you ok, did you just have a stroke?

Please answer how the US can afford free health care and education while being 20-60 trillion in debt?

You never defend your point by answering prescient questions. Are you going to run away to your cuck shed and start drinking, as usual?

          [–][deleted] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Nr-NFHLNG4 you just go ahead and ignore it. Zahn, you don't know Jack about shit. Now if you would take your talking points do the research you will see we cover everybody no copays no insurance for half the cost. We save millions a day every day doing that. Medicare for all will simply expand a program that nobody complains about in the first place. Expands the most popular insurance in the history of America because it is already in place serving millions. The cost in effect don't cost you a penny. Please don't be an asshole speaking fear and lies. Join us we are going to fix it. For you and yours. Your fear is lies of the highest order. I say that with confidence

Feel free to create a business plan for a burger stand. Check how much profit you can make per burger. How much people are willing to pay, and how much you could afford to comfortably pay your employees. The result will shock you. And also keep in mind that McDonald's doesn't work like you think it does.

But anyway, let's say we increase the minimum wage by $5. Suddenly, everyone that is currently making $5 above minimum wage would now be at minimum wage. Or should we raise everyone's salaries by $5?

You're making too many assumptions, this is an insanely complex issue. The current free-market capitalism has been the best tool EVER to increase social mobility and pull people out of poverty. How is that designed to keep you poor? The term "free" implies no design. Sure, people/corporations have corrupted it somewhat, but goddamn, if you're sleeping on the street right now I'll send you $100. If not, reconsider going over your thoughts and maybe pick up a book, or 50.

Or should we raise everyone's salaries by $5. Yes! you will have to just to keep those workers. How could you be such a joke to think we are not the economy. We make that money that goes right back to the wealthy. 400 million dollars an hour. Yes that spending is critical. To get us back on our economic feet. Spending is what your saying is not a need for capitalism. What a joke. Not a big complicated that money will be spent. With out taxing anybody. And you call! Me stupid lol putz

Tyrdhead is an American who has no use for your lables. Thanks for taking a shot at this, communist! Lol to funny. Oh that's how to peacock! Blame the workers. Pay us or watch use become your own personal house guests. You can fix our system by taking care of its work force. 160 million Americans work today 80 million earn less than 15 an hour.this is a five dollar raise over all of those 80 million folks. That kind grease will move America shake up America and we wont let it stall there. Managers that make 15 an hour will have more oppertunitys as well. Medicare for all gives us mobility and comfort. Free public college educates our work force. Hair cuts all around! That's the system we think is best. You Mr labeler who's side are you on?
