The situation escalated after the Muslim Patrol member called for backup. Soon, several Muslim Patrol cars arrived with sirens screaming and lights flashing.

Holy fuck they have sirens? How is that legal? If I drove around blaring sirens I'd get arrested. wtf is this shit? lmfao

This is every Christian Right-Wing racist stereotype nightmare BROUGHT TO LIFE! This is something straight out of an SNL Sketch. Has to be. There's no fucking way this is real.

Edit: Now I need a TV show where every relegion has it's own Police Department. They roll up onto a murder scene, go underneath the police tape. The Jew looks to the Muslim, he goes, "Don't look at me! This was a stabbing, not a wardrobe malfunction. Must've been a Christian who did this. All the right-wing crazies are Christian right now." The Jew and the Muslim look to the officer from the CPD (Christian Police Department) and he just shrugs. A minute later another guy comes running in, flashes his Satanic Temple Police Badge and goes, "Sorry I'm late guys. Some jerk tried to run me off the road on my way here."

They are just another gang using violence to enforce their beliefs.

We’ll enforce it [Sharia] on Muslims first then on non-Muslims. We’re going to enforce both Sharia law and American law. It would be contradictory to enforce Sharia law without also upholding the laws of the land.

The real contradiction here is that Sharia law and American law can be compatible. I am fine with people believing and practicing whatever they like, as long as they don't violate anyone else rights. Clearly though Sharia law does not apply though, as it allows the death penalty for anyone criticizing Islam, the Quran or Mohammad, allows no rights to women, and is altogether draconian and cruel.

Yeah. Whatever. The Jews have community patrols. There is long-established law for this sort of thing.

New York City even has a private police department, paid for by local residents. This is in addition to the police departments owned by a few large companies. It is a big town. It has a lot of police departments.

They increased their presence by 10x? Who's paying for this?

I'd be amazed if this operation wasn't the product of some Intel agency.
