This insanity is going to get worse before it gets better. Eventually, in about 20 years, there's going to be a snapping point and a group of people are going to refuse to give up their guns... Nobody's going to care until there's another waco incident.

ppl should prepare now, mentally and otherwise, to defend themselves and their rights by any means necessary. that includes learning applicable law and being able to weild arms competently in low light scenarios

The problem is the emotional disconnect. We don't see other people online as "people" anymore.

"That thing that happened was bad, but it will never happen to me."

How do you break that mentality? Until it actually happens to them they won't care and when it finally does happen it will be to late. They don't care about free speech until they cannot talk, but by then it's too late. The people in the middle who are pro-gun, but don't have a gun because they don't think they'll need it, live in a Utopian fantasy land.

I don't have the answers. I just have a place to hide. As we all should. The days of building large castles to survive sieges are over. If they know where you are there's no door they can't kick down. Only way forward when shit hits the fan is to dig a hole and cry in it.
