Even though they only make up 0.5% of the population

1.6 Mil seems like a pretty solid demographic to advertise to. If just half of all trans people bought a 12 pack of sprite that'd be just shy of 5 million dollars.

Pandering to the mentally ill normalizes mental illness. It's the last thing corporations should be doing.

Exactly what do you think happens if we normalize trans people? Dysphoria is not some contagious condition, and not all trans people even have dysphoria anyways. I'd much rather trans people be normalized than vilified.

Umm. Trans is pretty much the definition of dysphoria. Normalizing it is normalizing the trans behavior and establishing a societal expectation that normal healthy people accept and indulge trans people in their mental illness. That is extremely unhealthy for normal people because it requires us to essentially lie to the trans person and to lie to ourselves that trans people are normal or acceptable. They are neither.

So, normalizing trans people is bad because trans people are bad. Do you have any kind of justification or reasoning behind that or is this whole thing just a circle?
