Uh yeah. A buyback is an optional thing. If you have no option, it's not a voluntary transaction anymore. That is clearly confiscation.

On his website, his gun safety plan includes a ban on the sale and distribution of "assault weapons" and a prohibition on "high capacity ammunition magazines."

That's fair about him being a Dem, but he deserves a little credit for his statements on Palestinian human rights. He said more about that than anyone until AOC came on the scene. I think he's even open to conditional aid to Israel.
