AntennaPod because it's open sauce and doesn't contain trackers. Pocket Casts is one of the nicer ones only reporting up to 500 types of your in-app activity to google through their firebase tracking, but I'll pass on even that thanks.

Same, plus it's in the f-droid store which is nice if you're Google free.

How do you find their player. I had a go and it was so unintuitive that I ran back to Pocket Casts

Don't know if it's as good as apps specifically designed for podcasts, but I just use it for conveniance more than anything else. If you go to the search section on spotify on your phone, scroll down and you should see a "Podcast Category", click on that and there's lots to choose to from. Or you could just search for the podcast name and it should pop up if they're on there. Then just click the follow button and a new Podcast section should be added to your homepage.

I'm not too fond of Spotify's design either, it's kinda confusing.

Might be time for me to have another fiddle with it, thanks for the details. I listen to podcasts all day at work so I need a good smooth ride ha ha (also I am lazy)
