So long!

It's been a nice ride, but all things eventually come to an end.

For now check out Zooqle - these guys seem to know their stuff. They took our data and said they will index it eventually.

Thank you. We love you. We will miss you. Keep being awesome. — Your friendly robots and oppressed meatbags of Bitsnoop, 2008-2017

That's the Bitsnoop shutdown message from 2017, it's been long gone.

I thought the date was wierd. But why is it coming up now?

I feel like I must have been to Zooqle since then, like writing this Tigole article, and I don't remember seeing it.

I've never used Zooqle.

I'm confused.

Coming up where? That message does not seem to be on Zooqle. I was thinking the only place this news is coming up in 2019 is here in your post :P

like writing this Tigole article

Meh, that's just a random uploader not affiliated with either Bitsnoop or Zooqle.

The message came up every time I refreshed the link, then disappeared after 20 seconds.

The first time I was caught off guard. The second time I read it through. The third time I copy pasted it.

Just now I tried it again and it didn't.

I can't explain it.

I know Tigole isn't affiliated with them. But that's the last time I recall going to Zooqle.

Dunno, maybe just a temporary glitch? Wouldn't think on it too much. Plus the msg is really about Bitsnoop shutting down.

Zooqle has been around for a few years now, I don't get the feeling they're going anywhere anytime soon. They're not really the first place I check for things but they are certainly unique, they are the only public torrent indexer that attempts to examine & document video/audio streams in torrents indexed there.

Nothing on the internet is permanent of course, they may indeed go away one day but hopefully not anytime soon.
