Software to help share my media library with offline pirates

I have a need to help share my library with a bunch of people that don't have a permanent internet connection. My idea in my head is: 1. Have a webpage (or something) which mirrors my media library 2. Have the items selectable 3. Be able to select media to fit a certain capacity of USB drive, e.g. if I select a 1TB drive, it will let the user select enough movies and TV shows that will fit on said device 4. Be notified of the person's selection of both device capacity and selected movies/shows somehow.

Any ideas would be appreciated, thanks.

So what are you gonna do, after they select their media you will mail or physically deliver a USB drive?

Yes, I will deliver it - not within wifi range unfortunately, but an interesting concept!

I was actually thinking - the best thing would be just a mirror of my plex, but without access to the files and streaming.

I saw on raddle that some guy recommended writing a script to pull the titles of your media, that would work. Or you could use a screenshot tool to grab the huge list of your media and just show them screenshots. Maybe there is a Plex alternative with a web interface, where your friends can login and favorite/mark the media they want. Maybe with https://nextcloud.com/ ?

Past that I think you're looking at custom code.
