A week of December has passed and my garden is still producing jalapeno peppers! The plants I covered have survived the cold nights while the pepper plants left uncovered died. Hot Springs, Arkansas

Whoa! Look at those monsters!!! Beautiful!

Although I will say, you can get green jalapenos from the store all day long, you can rarely find ripe jalapenos.

These are organic and as fresh as possible, picked the same day they went into salsa. I usually like to wait until they turn red, but salsa was on the menu. I have about 14 other peppers on the same plant that these came from that might turn red.
