It's the first one I've seen in years. There used to be a Pizza Hut right down the street, but in the late 90s an employee blew their brains out there. It became considered a bit of a cursed location, a number of businesses that co-opted the pizza hut building utterly failed -- nobody wanted to go in there. Eventually they razed the building and put up an oil change place.

The Pizza Hut we had here in my local area of Hot Springs, Arkansas closed this past year. So I understand your surprise to see this restaurant open to customers.

And in the picture: Green grass! I heard a prophetic message recently that during the coming famine, people will consider tree bark and green grass to be a treat. It will be that bad. So please prepare, my friend.

I know of three still in operation within 45 minutes of me. All are in smaller towns. I heard they chose to only build take-out/delivery spots from now on, but I guess they are leaving open the restaurants that are still making money.

This was in a smaller town we passed through on our way camping last time. It was nice to see towns that aren't just endless strip malls with the same bland corporate franchises nobody ever seems to go into.
