A trucker told me that in most Walmart locations, truckers are allowed to park overnight because they also have to rest. Is that still true?

Yes it is true. Homeless people in cars get to park overnight as well as Walmart employees too far from the store to drive home.

A lot of campervan people use them as well.

Yes but not this one I don't think, this is one of the smaller stores.

You might see a Walmart parking lot but an increasing portion of the population see it as free overnight parking for their RV. "Hey everybody, let's go on a road trip and see America."

One of my first thoughts was if they'd let me camp there lol, but I don't think they let you do that at these smaller Wal-Marts.

I've yet to hear a case of someone being asked to move along regardless of the store size. Anyone?

They're not legally binding since it's not a public roadway, but it helps keep people from running into each other.
