According to geneticist Doron Behar and colleagues (2010), this is "consistent with a historical formulation of the Jewish people as descending from ancient Hebrew and Israelites of the Levant" and "the dispersion of the people of ancient Israel throughout the Old World".[4][5]

A 2020 study on remains from Bronze Age southern Levantine (Canaanite) populations found evidence of large scale migration from the Zagros or Caucasus into the southern Levant by the Bronze Age and increasing over time (resulting in a Canaanite population descended from both those migrants and earlier Neolithic Levantine peoples). The results were found to be consistent with several Jewish groups (including Mizrahi, Ashkenazi, and Sephardic Moroccan Jews) and non-Jewish Arabic-speaking Levantine populations (such as Lebanese, Druze, Palestinians, and Syrians) deriving about half or more of their ancestry from populations related to those from the Bronze Age Levant and Chalcolithic Zagros. The study modeled the aforementioned groups as having ancestry from both ancient populations.[25][26]

Mixed mongrels, sure, but this doesn't makes sense. Take the Ashkenazi Jews, roughly half their DNA is from the same Levant Middle Eastern group you consider white, and the other half is the Southern Europeans they mixed with when they migrated to that region, who are also white. This is why they can have blue eyes or even be gingers

You can't have it both ways. Either the Jews are non-white, and so are the Syrians and other Levant groups (you said yourself they are 'closer' to whites than they are to arabs, not that they ARE white), or they are both white by virtue of the close enough principle you cited.

I think it's a gray enough area, I'd accept either theory as reasonable, but you aren't being consistent in applying the criteria

Wrong. Israelites were blue eyed and gingers and white skinned, even as far back as 6000 years ago.

I don't think you can provide a citation of any reputable source to support this claim. Only the Mizrahi Jews have evidence of Arabic ancestry, because they migrated to Arabic regions and mixed with those people. Ashkenazi and Sephardic Jews do not have Arabic ancestry. There are theories that are not well accepted that the Jews have Khazar origins, but these are not Arabs either, they are Turkish peoples

Yes, the closest neighbor to the pink dots(the jews) are the baby blue dots, the white europeans. Only the Yemenite Jews are near the Arabs, the other 8 are far closer to europeans. The Purple ones are your Levant because they have the Druze, which are further from white than the Jews are, except the Iranian Jews, which are actually on top of that group, indicating the same ancestry. In fact your purple Levant group is much further from the white Europeans than the 7/9 of the Jewish groups

1/9 is Levant, which is less white than the 7/9 Jews, and seem to be halfway between Turks and Arabs, which geographically makes sense

If you really want Jesus to be white, Jewish is really your only option close to this

That is why us Catholics care little for race and more about absolute travesty that is rabbinic Judaism which has no redeeming qualities whatsoever.
