I hear surgeons use surgery vids to refresh their memory, or outright learn procedures before they do them. Works for fixing my car too.

That's actually reassuring, to know they refresh their memory before diving back in with a knife.

Sure. In fact, I think they should have people interested in being surgeons watch vids and dive right in on animals or cadavers, those with a talent for it are further trained as surgeons. The way we train people has become ass backwards, and there's too many people who aren't really good at their professions. Gotta get the college profiteering model out of higher education.

I agree, you are quite right. People should definitely progress in fields that they are good at, and preferably fields they are interested in. The education system has problems.
