All plants are carnivorous. Majority of them just suck their juices through a straw in the ground.

I would not suggest doing so as this is a carnivorous plant and it eats insects e.g. flies.
So, you can't eat it? Get rid of it.
It's going to eat my flies, I don't like flies.
