The chemical composition of that stuff can be changed to suit the occasion, given some notice. All I know is that shortwave reception has gone down to almost zero. Wasn't one of the solar observatories that was closed down, in Arkansas? Do you know what the closures were really all about? I think we can't depend on Yahoo News to keep us informed on this.

Bet there's some aluminum or silver nanoparticles in the cloud seed mix, are probably blocking radio signals. Also lead is a concern.

If I had to guess, I bet they're trying to bust this heat dome, and end the drought. It did not work well for China when they did this.

Yeah, there is some sort of metal in there to block signals. with no Internet and no shortwave, it's going to be difficult to reorganize after they pull the plug. Whether you have a license or not, a multi-band ham transceiver would be good to have in an emergency. BTW, why is no one on chat today?
