We get her hand blown glass ornaments for the tree. It's got to be over 40 now. The tree looks fucking awesome.

Colloquialism.

It's hard to find hand blown glass places, even more rare to find people to appreciate such.

Regardless of the rarity, those gifts are high class, and more importantly, they're pretty cool.

My father was largely absent growing up and I got the shit beat out of me most days of my life by my mentally ill brother until I left home.

I couldn't recommend him as a father. As a guy though, he did his best. It sucked but whatever, that was in the long long ago.

Is that lucky? If so, I feel I paid a blood price to the universe for that luck.

I get cold decked like a motherfucker now. I think I spent all my poker luck.

It's been up and down with the holidays and my other self imposed issues but still back to 280s to 290s
