Why wouldn't you just prepare the powdered milk as normal, then measure and use like regular milk?

I would want my powdered milk to be fully reconstituted before using anyway.

In recipes it gets blended together at some stage and it doesn't matter. There are times I like to make sure the milk is fully constituted first, smoothies can be gritty otherwise.

I've never used powdered milk before, but have recently had interest due to price and shelf life.

This Canadian company suggests

For smoothness and flavour, we suggest that you mix milk at night for use the next day.

It occured to me the reason these conversions are super handy that I should have mentioned is not whether you mix it first or not, but that if you only need a cup of milk, you can mix up only a cup of milk instead of making a full quart or whatever the instructions are on the packet or box.

You hopefully can get a better price than your link. This is a handy site for finding low prices on Amazon: https://bangyourbuck.com/

I think it is wise to have as a panty staple. It's not as good as real milk, but it's milk when otherwise you might not have it. Comes in handy for cooking and baking.
