Great artwork. On closer inspection, the other worldly spheres above correspond with the heavenly bodies below. The twelve spoke wheel represents the stars, the sphere without rays represents the moon, and the six rayed sphere represents the sun. There's so much going on I nearly missed the tree at the center of it all blooming with life.

I see similarities between the Flammarion Engraving and scenes/themes from The Fountain by Aronofsky.

Some questions to you who know better:

Is the Veil the 00.001% of matter that the atoms are made of?

To see beyond the Veil, one needs to transcend over the matter and "see" the reality, holograms, fractals and the Source where everything originates?

As Plato described the Veil as shadows on the cave wall (material world) and beyond the Veil as the Idea world which project the shadows?
