      Practically every race and ethnic group throughout history was involved in genocidal conflicts. I thought I had read it all until I started researching Polynesian history. Very macabre as they descended into cannibalistic insanity. I would even say being colonized by Western powers was a good thing that ultimately saved them from self annihilation.

                In a saner time, this book was received with hostility, but today it informs the ideology of the ruling elites. Freudian psychoanalysis is wholly pseudoscientific, and psychology is largely pseudoscientific (and has historically been a means for political persecution) though there are elements which are better supported by evidence (i.e. IQ and the Five-Factor Model of Personality). Whether this book was truly burned because it was a work of quackery, or because it was insightful, or because it was obscene, Jewish poison, remains an open question.
