This is actually a pretty cool photo. I always found military uniforms throughout different time-periods, across different branches and countries to be interesting. Dude in the front looks like a wizard leading the way, then we got Cyber-punk googles d00d behind him. Thx for sharing!

Edit & OT: Does anyone know who or how military's contract artists? I have a friend in the Airforce and have asked him, but he doesn't know either. Military designs are usually awesome (especially for ops/the patches), and have a great sense of humor. War, death and blood-lust aside, the art is actually good and interesting, unlike say the symbol for the UN.

It means to be me what it's meant to everyone all throughout history; propaganda or a blip in history isn't changing my opinion on what that symbol means. It has long roots in many cultures before WWII.

Edit: Btw, speaking of Swastika's, there's this really cool art my Air force friend showed from WWII that an artist did for the military (not sure for what branch or what project or why), but it was basically Bugs Bunny smashing a swastika. If I can find it, I'll share it, but again, this is what I mean by dope art.

Edit 2: Doing some digging, haven't found it yet, but this is the same artist! He would make these designs and paint them on the back of bomber jackets for fellow military members.

Love this type of artwork! Not sure what to call it really. Military Americana or something. Like anything painted on the sides of planes or engraved on Vietnam war-era zippos.

Not that I am trying to glorify war, I just think it's culturally significant and cool.

Exactly. And another thing I find interesting about it outside of the art itself being really cool, is some of the art seems super self-aware.
