i keep mine caged in a vm, no real use for it, its just like an exotic but dangerous animal

i used tails on my crappy old laptop for years, but just last week i bought a really nice new one, preinstalled with ubuntu. so now i am surfing from a debian vm (using tor browser). its pure luxury compared to tails.

its a dell inspiron 14 5480 with ubuntu 18.04.3 lts. i7-8565u/16gb ddr4/128gb ssd+1tb hdd+nvidia mx250?. and then i run virtualbox..

Did you install tails or do you use usb3 or something? It's the only way to use tor though, using it in wondows is DUMB guys.

yeah, usb3, but usb2 was also good enough

Don't use tails for everyday things dude. Use Qubes or something easy like ubuntu or linux mint. Eventually you will use debian, just a matter of time for you to learn, 3 years usually.
