i used tails on my crappy old laptop for years, but just last week i bought a really nice new one, preinstalled with ubuntu. so now i am surfing from a debian vm (using tor browser). its pure luxury compared to tails.

its a dell inspiron 14 5480 with ubuntu 18.04.3 lts. i7-8565u/16gb ddr4/128gb ssd+1tb hdd+nvidia mx250?. and then i run virtualbox..

Did you install tails or do you use usb3 or something? It's the only way to use tor though, using it in wondows is DUMB guys.

Don't use tails for everyday things dude. Use Qubes or something easy like ubuntu or linux mint. Eventually you will use debian, just a matter of time for you to learn, 3 years usually.

I've said this before, but I'm so glad to be on Linux mint , and with a windows 7 vm. I've also got ubuntu on my laptop. This is one of the many reasons why I hate Windows 10.

Some dumbass didn't set W10's active hours to not allow this during active hours. What in the world is a display system using Windows 10 for? That's madness.

I hear Windows 9 embedded is pretty sweet. I'm interested in other windows ripoff OS's too. If they're gonna fuck with linux, throw it right back at 'em!
