Made by Freemason, they worship Satan, light represents him, the enlightenment was all about being anti Christian, using science which they fake to hurt faith. Libertas was a goddess of freed slaves in the Roman Empire, she was made up to get freed slaves to still work for their masters. During French Revolution the revolutionaries tried to replace Christianity and this personification of liberty replaced mother mary. She's on the great seal of france too. The keeper of the seals are the ones in charge of countries.

That's the statue of liberty. It's not Mystery Babylon.

Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi came up with the face, loosely based on a mixture of Augusta Charlotte Bartholdi, the Roman goddess Libertas, and a peasant woman.

This is a volcano snail. Their shells are made of iron and they live around hydrothermal vents that can reach up to 750 degrees Fahrenheit. by Musky in pics

[–]weavilsatemyface 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

His claim is that they are endangered because deep sea mining is destroying their habitat.

That's not what he said.

Risks exist before the event occurs. You don't have to already have cancer to be at risk of cancer.

If there were billions of them in a million different habitats, they wouldn't be endangered no matter what deep-sea mining was taking place. They are endangered because there are so few of them in such a specialised habitat where deep sea mining is likely to take place, so they are at risk. They could be at risk from many different things, and one of them is deep-sea mining at the vents. Doesn't matter whether there is large-scale mining happening right now or not, people are planning it and the risk exists.

They're not at risk from Donald Trump building a golf course in their habitat, or at risk from deforestation for palm oil, or at risk from global warming, or at risk of being beheaded by ISIS terrorists. But they are at risk of deep-sea mining.

It's common sense really.

they are small in number and have a limited habitat that they are potentially at risk from deep sea mining

Right. They are endangered because there are not many of them and they live in a very limited habitat.

So what's your problem?

[–]weavilsatemyface 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Doesn't matter whether there is deep-sea mining of the vents or not, they are endangered because there are very few of them and they live in a very restricted environment. If something disrupts the vents, doesn't matter what, they can't exactly move somewhere else.

Whether deep-sea mining is happening right now or not is a distraction.

Look again at the thread, regarding the Scaly-foot gastropod, which is declared endangered because of deep sea mining tests and in relation to mining that is planned. It's so easy to understand. Wrong. The first one is simply claiming that because they are small in number and have a limited habitat that they are potentially at risk from deep sea mining if it were to happen.

The second one purports to have done testing on what the effects of deep sea mining might be.

Both are obviously biased and neither has anything to do with any real mining operations.

So you're not reading any of the material at those links? Recap:

1st link: In 2019, [Scaly-foot gastropod] was declared endangered on the IUCN Red List, the first species to be listed as such due to risks from deep-sea mining of its vent habitat.

2nd link: Since the 1960s there have been numerous tests and trials of deep sea mining, showing that this displaces marine life.

These address the post topic.

You asked: "Who TF is mining thermal vents?"

Answer: those who've done the many tests and trials of deep sea mining.

No need for you to be upset about this.

It's just info. Deep sea mining is in the news recently, as you read. Continue reading or search for companies already licensed for deep sea mining: https://deepseamining.ac/companies#gsc.tab=0

Here is another update on deep sea mining: https://www.sierraclub.org/sierra/norway-greenlights-world-s-first-commercial-deep-sea-mining-project

Norway was the first country to allow deep sea mining, which was approved on 9 January. Deep sea mining will soon happen in Norwegian water.

EDIT: Here is a recent purchase of the necessary equipment for the mining survey (which will locate the areas Loke will mine): https://www.reuters.com/markets/deals/norways-loke-buys-uk-deep-sea-mining-firm-lockheed-2023-03-16/

Who TF upvoted this? None of those links show any company actively mining deep sea vents. It is all speculation, and most of those imply it isn't being done yet.

Greenpeace could be thrown out of the UN body overseeing controversial plans to begin deep-sea mining.

So we have greenpeace, known for propaganda among other unethical methods, fighting to stop deep sea mining from ever being allowed before it ever happens. And we have this claim that an endangered species is going extinct because of the thing greenpeace is trying to stop. All the evidence points to that thing not even happening yet.

What the fuck is everyone so gullible?!

Most “racism” is just pattern recognition. Pre-Stone Age gatherers do not behave as Modern Humans and should not be expected to.

This is a volcano snail. Their shells are made of iron and they live around hydrothermal vents that can reach up to 750 degrees Fahrenheit. by Musky in pics

In 2019, it was declared endangered on the IUCN Red List, the first species to be listed as such due to risks from deep-sea mining of its vent habitat.

I think most of the racism we have seen is in psychological operations and publicized by the giant media corporations. I have not seen racism in real life America like it is portrayed by the media and like anonymous posts suggest.

But, like COVID, even if we didn't see the virus, people still freaked out and feared it after watching and believing what the electronic screens told them. So likewise, people who see enough racist propaganda and believe it will be afraid to treat other human beings with kindness.

Such a great story it makes me want to send millions of African Americans back to that country so they can flee the racism rampant here.

You have likely seen some trolls around here. For anyone interested, here is a story....

A diverse group of travelers made their way across a bridge that connected a desolate wilderness to a paradise. An elderly asian couple walked slowly, leaning on their canes, but smiling. A young black man strode carefree, his headphones playing upbeat music. A hispanic mother held the hands of her two small children, guiding them lovingly. Alongside them was a middle-aged white man, with a curious look as he observed the group he found himself in.

Suddenly, a gruff voice called out from beneath the bridge. "Go back where you came from!" His bloodshot eyes glared up at the travelers. "This bridge is for good people only!"

The travelers paused and exchanged uneasy glances. The elderly couple tightened their grip on their canes. The young man removed his headphones, his jaw clenching. The mother pulled her children closer, shielding them with her body. The white man looked around, his expression shifting from concern to determination.

"We are together," the white man called down. "And this bridge is for any traveler."

The troll let out a harsh laugh. "You're just as bad as the rest of them," he spat. "Get off the bridge!"

The travelers refused to be intimidated. They were determined to leave the wasteland behind them and enter the other side. As they paused, they noticed the troll remained under the bridge and would not come up to confront them. They realized that he actually feared the group as he remained hidden in the shadows.

"Go back to your separate places where you belong!"

The group ignored his commands and continued on, crossing the bridge. The troll's insults echoed behind them, but they continued making their way across and refused to throw oil onto the fire of the troll's hatred for them.

As they reached the other side, the travelers exchanged friendly nods and smiles, all their differences fading in the face of their common experience. Together, they had made it out of the wilderness and were now in a land flowing with milk and honey. They were immediately greeted by multitudes of people from every nation that had traveled before them. The troll remained behind in the darkness, alone and miserable.

On the one hand the scenario you put forward is logically sound, however the facts on the ground are different than what you are proposing. If a handful of psychos took over while everyone else was kind and peaceful then this situation would not lead to rampant criminality and violence across the country. That is what is happening. If the people in the picture were two young white girls traveling alone they would be raped and murdered having never come across any of these supposed "handful of psychos in power".

All countries have the problem you described where the nice people get taken over by the psychos. In white countries where the people are actually kind and nice the country remains peaceful and prosperous. The cost to quality of life caused by the psychos increasing taxes to fund wars, and the tyrannical policies they put in place to maintain power don't lead to the collapse of these countries into the squaller and violence of the third world.

Much like Zimbabwe, the people are so nice that you only need a handful of psychos and they take over the whole country

Yes, very real. The '30s saw the rise of explicit fascism, but now we have Friendly Fascism.

Sexual perversion is common in nations that fall. Long before this current time, Sodom (infamous for sodomy) was destroyed by fire and brimstone. When you mentioned Adolf Hitler, I immediately remembered a dream I had last night where I saw him.... He was wearing a military jacket with an epaulette on each shoulder in the colors of the US flag! Perhaps I was seeing that his spirit, or one like his, is now ruling America.

Hey John, seeing this comment thread now. There are also documentaries that talk about this such as Adolf Hitler: The Greatest Story Never Told. They probably didn't have rainbow coloured postal trucks but the city was very degenerate with a lot of prostitution and homosexuality, I think that's what he's referring to.

That is true, but tilapia is not native to Arkansas. It might be found in some waters if stocked. However, in Uganda, tilapia is a native fish (a very good tasting fish) and is a common source of meat for them. Today in Uganda, my wife was served another tilapia dinner.

They are getting their meat fresh, while I recently ate some in the US that was frozen for three years!
