They are affected by time but very differently from the living. But no, your "ghost" is inside your body while you are alive, so if you are "haunted" by your own ghost, that means you are experiencing terrible psychosis where you identify with another entity that possesses you, and then your true self is "haunting" that false-you complex where your body is taken over by an entity. It can happen, and it is a fate much worse than death.

Your "ghost" is your consciousness with your soul. That's inside your body while you are alive, unless terrible psychosis as mentioned above. That's why people aren't haunted by themselves.

As for being haunted by other people who are deceased, yes, EVERYBODY IS, PRETTY MUCH ALL THE TIME. That's what "thinking" is.

I know a guy who can stop people from thinking by ending this haunting process. It comes back though.
