Let's leave it the same. It's fine how it is, tbh. It doesn't need to be smaller or bigger, imo.

Oh I don't know. The post is a pretty good thing. We've done good things with it before. These sure are times we could use to do good things.

You don't even live in the US but you want to expand the US post system that's already huge and massively in debt? lol ok

I do live in the US. Lol, what gave you the idea I lived outside America?

The debt is due to Congress, not any failure at the Post Office. Bush did it.

How many years do we need to wait? Seems today the US is an ass.

Handing over the keys to the private sector would run counter to USPS’s stated purpose of connecting every American home and business, no matter how remote. Private corporations, following the whims of the market, would likely charge more for delivery in less dense, rural areas, while pricing out low-income residents everywhere.

Never privatize your Post Office! Its the last line of communication some people in this world have.

You get it. That's why the post office is in the Constitution. It must exist and it must be run by the Federal Government.

:D

fta

In an era of little faith in government, a reimagined postal service could demonstrate how public solutions can solve many of our collective problems, from climate change to a predatory financial industry. That’s exactly what the post office did in the country’s early days.
