A hitherto unknown cause of the Wuhan coronavirus outbreak [1–3] is reported here - a bacteria from the Prevotella genus. The number of Wuhan coronavirus deaths in mainland China has overtaken the SARS epidemic in the country. The high mortality is being caused by targeting only the virus (which is also present). This is a two pronged attack, as previously noted in ‘infection with human coronavirus NL63 enhances streptococcal adherence to epithelial cells‘ [6]. Prevotella is a well known pathogen, and can induce ‘Severe Bacteremic Pneumococcal Pneumonia in Mice with Upregulated Platelet-Activating Factor Receptor Expression’ [7].The RNA-seq data from Wuhan, China (PRJNA603194) has millions of reads of Prevotella proteins, and a few thousands from 2019-nCoV (Table 1). Similarly, the DNA sequences (PRJNA601630) of 6 patients from the same family in Hong Kong [3] shows significant presence of this bacteria. These sequences can be found at SI:China.RNA-seq/SampleSequences.fa(n=480K) and SI:HongKong/ALLsequences.fa(n=50k).Finally, the expression levels (Table 2) shows that the elongation factor Tu is the most expressed. ‘Elon- gation factor Tu (Tuf) is a new virulence factor of Streptococcus pneumoniae that binds human complement factors, aids in immune evasion and host tissue invasion’ [8].These are the only two studies I could find. Detection of the Prevotella in other samples will add more credence to this theory. Detection of the nCoV can be made very specific by looking for a 500bp in the spike protein [4], which would be a good candidate for vaccine development, protein-inhibition and diagnosis (which was non-specific for SARS in many cases, including the CDC test [5]). Anti-virals neeed to be supplemented with anti-bacterial agents to treat this disease.

Chinese researchers said drugs targeting the furin enzyme could have the potential to hinder the virus’ replication in the human body. These include “a series of HIV-1 therapeutic drugs such as Indinavir, Tenofovir Alafenamide, Tenofovir Disoproxil and Dolutegravir and hepatitis C therapeutic drugs including Boceprevir and Telaprevir”, according to Li’s study.

This suggestion is in line with reports by some Chinese doctors who self-administered HIV drugs after testing positive for the new coronavirus, but there is as yet no clinical evidence to support the theory.

“This virus may use the packing mechanisms of other viruses such as HIV.”

According to the study, the mutation can generate a structure known as a cleavage site in the new coronavirus’ spike protein.

The virus uses the outreaching spike protein to hook on to the host cell, but normally this protein is inactive. The cleavage site structure’s job is to cheat the human furin protein, so it will cut and activate the spike protein and cause a “direct fusion” of the viral and cellular membranes.

Jan. 24, 2020 Immunization provides the best protection against the influenza virus and vaccines have been available for decades with a recent switch from trivalent to quadrivalent vaccines that protect against each two influenza type A and two B strains.

The late stage pipeline for seasonal influenza vaccines in the 3GM includes the first quadrivalent seasonal influenza vaccines in China from Sinovac, Chongqing Zhifei, and Wuhan, as well as a quadrivalent formulation of Fluad.Quadrivalent live-attenuated vaccines will launch in India (from the Serum Institute) and Japan (AstraZeneca’s FluMist, licensed by Daiichi Sankyo).

But ncov2019 uses spike protein, which causes sensitivity

2019-nCoV S shares 98% sequence identity with the S protein from the bat coronavirus RaTG13, with the most notable variation arising from an insertion in the S1/S2 protease cleavage site that results in an “RRAR” furin recognition site in 2019-nCoV (19), rather than the single arginine in SARS-CoV (fig. Oh, here's what I was trying to find.

https://www.loc.gov/law/foreign-news/article/china-vaccine-law-passed/

(Aug. 27, 2019) On June 29, 2019, the National People’s Congress Standing Committee of the People’s Republic of China (PRC or China) adopted the PRC Law on Vaccine Administration (Vaccine Law). The official Xinhua news agency states that the Law provides for the “strictest” vaccine management with tough penalties in order to ensure the country’s vaccine safety.

Before the passage of this 100-article Law, provisions governing vaccines were contained in the PRC Drug Administration Law, PRC Law on the Prevention and Treatment of Infectious Diseases, and a few relevant administrative regulations and rules.

The new Law provides for regulatory requirements for researching, producing, distributing, and using vaccines. Such requirements, according to one legal commentator, are much more stringent than those for other drugs (art. 2). It also contains a chapter specifying penalties for violating the Vaccine Law, which are also stricter than those for violating other drug laws (ch. 10). According to the Law, if any violation of this Law constitutes a crime, a “heavier punishment” within the range of punishments provided by the Criminal Law on the relevant crimes is to be imposed (art. 79).

The Law mandates the launching of a national vaccine electronic tracking platform that integrates tracking information throughout the whole process of vaccine production, distribution, and use to ensure all vaccine products can be tracked and verified (art. 10).

According to the Law, China is to implement a state immunization program, and residents living within the territory of China are legally obligated to be vaccinated with immunization program vaccines, which are provided by the government free of charge. Local governments and parents or other guardians of children must ensure that children be vaccinated with the immunization program vaccines (art. 6).

The Law establishes a compensation system for abnormal reactions to vaccination. A recipient of an immunization program vaccine who dies or suffers significant disability or organ and tissue damage is to be paid from the vaccination funds of the provincial level government if the damage falls within the scope of abnormal reactions associated with a vaccine or cannot be prevented (art. 56).

The Law will take effect on December 1, 2019 (art. 100).

Second, the propensity of the viruses to recombine may pose a problem by rendering the vaccine useless and potentially increasing the evolution and diversity of the virus in the wild [108]. Finally, it has been shown in FIPV that vaccination with S protein leads to enhanced disease [109].

Only limited options are available to prevent coronavirus infections. Vaccines have only been approved for IBV, TGEV, and Canine CoV, but these vaccines are not always used because they are either not very effective, or in some cases have been reported to be involved in the selection of novel pathogenic CoVs via recombination of circulating strains.

As the slogan says : 武汉每天不一样 (Wuhan different everyday). It actually refers to the rapid development of the city which to be explained that it grows fast within a short period of time. But, I heard a joke which says that it can also refer to the weather. During summer, the temperature can go crazy, it can go up to 42 degrees Celcius with no wind at all. It is too hot for me since I come from a tropical country. But when it comes to winter, the temperature can be so cold, it can reach to -10 degress with a lot of wind. And during spring season, the weather can change extremely within 1 or 2 days, from the very high humidity to the dry and hot day.

Importantly, another group reported that the minor C allele of rs12252 in the Caucasin population is much more prevalent in Han Chinese and Japanese and is associated with disease severity in patients with pH1N1/09 IAV infection (Zhang et al., 2013)

IFITM Genes, Variants, and Their Roles in the Control and Pathogenesis of Viral Infections

Additional research about this Han Chinese vulnerability is noted in an article "Genetic variants in IL1A and IL1B contribute to the susceptibility to 2009 pandemic H1N1 influenza A virus"

Chinese population-attributable risk for severe influenza infection was ten-fold greater than Northern European population-attributable risk because of the high frequency of rs12252-C in Han Chinese [4]. Meanwhile, the SNPs in TLR3 [5], CD55 [6], C1q and FCGR2A [7], TNF [8, 9], LTA, IL8 and IL1B [9] were suggested to be connected with the severity of A(H1N1)pdm09 virus infection.

...

Here, we found a significantly high frequency of IL-1B rs1143627 allele C in A/H1N1 patients, suggesting the hosts with allele C were more susceptible to this virus infection. Importantly, the frequency of the rs1143627 allele C is quite rich in Han Chinese (minor allele frequency = 0.476). Thus, elucidation of the underlying mechanism of the polymorphism of rs1143627 is of great importance for in-depth understanding of the susceptibility of influenza in Chinese population

In their unsigned ruling, the judges cited Supreme Court precedent, noting the 215 lawmakers filing the lawsuit are not the majority of Congress, and that they might have had standing if they had done so as a majority. "[O]nly an institution can assert an institutional injury," the ruling says.

"Here, regardless of rigor, our conclusion is straightforward because the members — 29 senators and 186 members of the House of Representatives — do not constitute a majority of either body and are, therefore, powerless to approve or deny the president’s acceptance of foreign emoluments," the decision says.

Contrary to popular belief the American government doesn’t always allow free speech. For example in the past the government has prosecuted people for speech they didn’t want the public to be influenced by due to special circumstances, like wartime. But that was in the past and nowadays people associated with government will turn to propaganda in order to punish the speakers they would like to silence. Hillary Clinton recently said that Republicans are working with the Russians “who play a big role” in their election manipulation schemes to lie about Democrat candidates by using “the dark web” to “convince blacks not to vote.” She also said “they are grooming” Tulsi who is a “Russian asset” to run as a 3rd party candidate in order to split the vote to help Trump’s re-election.

The swift backlash against Hillary must have left her and the Neocon-Neoliberal establishment in the Clinton camp feeling shocked. Many in the media were acting surprised that Hillary would commit political hara-kiri like that, even though they were promoting the same smears right up to that day.

Biden is Hillary in a suit an a haircut. Paid by the same people and willing to do anything to support that money. Trump is Hillary with a sledg hammer because he is swallowing every drop of money. You have to ask the question who is not on their knees taken the check and who is not? All of them equally repulsive in my eyes. Who could support either of them is a traitor to all of us. Because neither of them gives a shit about you and yours they can not because they are told not to. They do have an adjenda and it is the adjenda we didn't vote for. Fifty years of their rule is enough!

Akin to ensuring that telecommunications companies aren’t held responsible for the content of phone conversations, Section 230 is a commonsense policy that allows for free discourse on the internet, subject to standards imposed by individual online platforms. Ironically, Biden’s stance echoes conservative politicians such as Sens. Josh Hawley and Ted Cruz, who have also called for Section 230’s repeal. In their case, the two Republicans are looking to punish companies such as Facebook for what they perceive as censorship of conservatives.

While liberal critics such as Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi describe the law as a “gift” to Big Tech companies, the opposite is true. Repealing Section 230 would also affect smaller platforms and independent websites, especially those allowing comments on articles. Unlike Facebook or Google, these companies typically don’t have the necessary resources to moderate or fact-check everything their users post.

Additionally, unlike the social media giants, most smaller companies don’t have the legal resources to withstand costly, protracted litigation that could drive them bankrupt even if they’re legally in the right. It’s strange, then, for critics to complain about the disproportionate influence that platforms such as Facebook have on public discourse while simultaneously advocating a legislative change that will further entrench their monopoly.

After Biden's comments, his campaign said the candidate was referring to recent claims by Sanders that Biden has proposed cutting Social Security in the past. The Sanders campaign has pointed to a speech Biden gave to the Brookings Institution think tank in 2018, when Biden said of Ryan's plan to reform the tax code: "Paul Ryan was correct when he did the tax code. What's the first thing he decided we had to after? Social Security and Medicare."

Surprise! Presidential candidate Joe Biden has previously put Social Security cuts on the table

Yet, what you might find surprising is that early Democratic presidential front-runner Joe Biden, who you'd expect to fight for core Democratic principles in resolving Social Security's imminent cash crunch, including raising or eliminating the earnings cap, has called for Social Security cuts on three separate occasions over the past 12 years. 1. Raising the full retirement age

For those of you who may not recall, this isn't Joe Biden's first go-around as a presidential hopeful for the Democratic ticket. Prior to Barack Obama winning the Democratic nomination in 2008, Biden was one of Obama's competitors for that nomination. Of the many proposals Biden brought to the table in 2007, arguably none was viewed with greater scrutiny than his ideas on buoying retirement savings plans, including Social Security.

While not focusing strictly on cutting benefits, Biden's noted approach, according to NBC News, was to work on a bipartisan solution that would include discussing options such as raising the full retirement age and increasing the earnings cap associated with the payroll tax.

Your full retirement age is the age at which the Social Security Administration deems you eligible to receive 100% of your payout, as determined by your birth year. It's currently set to peak at age 67 in 2022 for those folks born in 1960 or later, and Republicans have proposed gradually increasing this figure to as high as age 70. Raising the full retirement age would require that future generations of working Americans wait longer to collect 100% of their monthly benefit, or that they accept a steeper permanent reduction to their payout if claiming early. Either way, the idea is to combat increasing longevity over many decades and reduce outlays for the program over the long run. Keep in mind that raising the full retirement age is designed to protect existing and near-term retirees from any cuts to their Social Security benefits.

To be clear, Yours Truly favors the bipartisan approach when addressing Social Security's cash shortfall. But to see a prominent Democrat put raising the full retirement age on the table is pretty rare.

Got ya. If you read further you will find we simply don't know because. Gun rights groups and shitty politicians have changed the laws so we really cant know how many. this is simply what we know, from reporting in the news. On top of the ones we are able to gleen from news. There are another 3ok who did shoot them self's in suicide. The real number is an epidemic of mass proportions that can't be ignored. 70k died this year because a gun was involved. It time to amend the 2nd. Cause gun laws don't work. People don't care an the apathy is unsustainable. Add that to the 70k who died without insurance. And the 100k who died in their cars, whats amazing to me that we can't know and are not allowed to talk about. That might be a better title but made ya look. And answer. Now please think what your saying it is a guess because the law is an ass. We should change that sooner the better. Because I'm sure you agree no guns no gun deaths. My four year old gets it.
