Inductive reasoning is reaching general conclusions from many specific instances. This is sound. And no one would reach a general conclusion from few specific instances alone. When modern scum do is present a general theory based some argument and then back it with a few specific instances. The flaw is accepting the argument for the theory as evidence. With this flaw, general conclusions are accepted with insufficient specific evidence.

The Old Testament warns against trusting one's mind/heart over God/reality which means don't trust theories and their arguments without enough real world evidence.
