One of the biggest problems with people today is that they will use very specific things to come to very general conclusions. For example, they might come to the general conclusion that a corporation respects people, because the corporation made some specific display of respect towards transgendered people. They might come to the general conclusion that the vaccine was safe, because some tests were done showing that some specific aspects of the vaccine were safe. And they might come to the general conclusion that Muslims are violent, because a small number of specific groups of Muslims are violent.
Are there any religious writings that teach against this kind of thinking?
