In the Bush era the 'Classic EA' era as many would call it (God I wish they'd release their full back catalog) AI was attempting to get smarter but the computing power just wasn't there so at times it was clunky though sometimes mods attempted to improve it.
We were in the hard transition from 32 to 64 bit which wasn't very smooth if you were doing computer stuff at the time and made many gave up plus bad economy from Obama made people not afford expensive stuff.
I think these things combined made it so there were console couch shitters and they had no idea how much was broken until Windows 7 fixed some things but by that time many companies either went defunct or merged and were treated as a sex toy so a lot of weird patches and workarounds had to be made to get XP era stuff to run again. This was the 'AI video game hot spot' that companies could've capitalized on but instead they went for more monsters on the screen instead of smarter monsters.
I don't know why we didn't have the turn around as during Trump that was a good time to capitalize and expand but most companies held back and we got broken releases and stupid junk from then on. I kept expecting major changes as Trump did his damn best to fix the economy and we briefly did have a turn around.
Do you think if we had stayed 32 bit but had more powerful computers within that sphere things would've been less bumpy with a lot more compatibility?
