Maybe they're like succubi and just hypnotize you into comfort or something. Do you have any dead muslim friends we could seance up and ask?

Sorry, changed it around during editing and left the warning out. Really, I think he might have just been resting.

No moslems, but do have a couple dead jew friends. (am just assuming on the second one, given his current age) I don't think reviving either of them would be a good idea.
