Look up their denial near the bottom of the page on/about the word Nigger & how they never changed its definition..? Ha.
My grandmother had a huge print version when I was younger & it's how I first learned said word after hearing it from some randumb kid & looking it up after school that day in the '80s.
It said/was defined exactly as what they now deny & have for some time..?

Definitions don't matter anymore. Especially when they clearly switch definitions at the moment the word is mostly being used for political conversations. We live in a post-modern world anyway.
I can just say Merriam-Webster is racist and operates in a racist society, so their definition is not the true definition fo a vaccine. A vaccine means experimenting with people's health, and there's no one point of truth here.
