Why doesn't sanity have advantages?

It does, but you have to sacrifice happiness.

Also, that site wouldn't need to change their name if they wanted to start catering to MtF trannies.

Included in my definition of sane is a full awareness of how current civilization is going. To be happy, one must purge most knowledge and awareness of the state of our species. Can someone with their eyes closed and fingers in their ears really be sane?

There's an argument to be made that one can't be immersed in the modern world and still be sane. Maybe?

Someone with a full awareness of how the civilization is going will always be an outlier. Most folks aren't oriented towards civilization-level topics.

One might not have much grasp of abstract stuff, yet still have a sense that something is off, based on personal experience. This is a matter of intuition more than intellect. One who has this sense, in an insane society, is relatively sane.

To be happy, one must purge most knowledge and awareness of the state of our species.

To be happy in an insane society, one must purge one's very instincts. Lately, we are even asked to deny the existence of differences between men and women.

Really, no. Actually, yes, because that is exactly what is expected of people. And 'sanity', as officially defined, is a social construct.

Can't argue with that. Inhabiting these mammal bodies on the surface of this speck in this universe sure is an adventure.
