Could you be any more of a goy? Grow some White balls and push back as soon as they start pulling their shit: "$4.00?!? It was $3.50 last time." etc etc. You need to maintain some pride and dignity before you need a sugary confection in your life. Passively 'protesting' is some weak ass crap.

The second you roll over you have lost.

WHT "heavy German-sounding accent. This made me realize that she was probably Jewish". How the fuck does one hear a German accent and think ah that's a jewish person.

Any way a few years back on you tube there was a documentary about Germany before the war, shop after shop was jewish owned. I know this to be fact because my grand parent's left Germany in 1935. They talked about life in Poing Bavaria and how most shops were jewish owned and they never give credit to non jews.

Yiddish is spoken as a mother tongue by a fair number of orthodox Jews in New York. It is derived largely from middle high German.

Here's a sample: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PNZgeGAsLuk

Most non-orthodox Jews in 1935 Germany probably spoke standard high German as mother tongue.

orthodox Jews in New York.

The wife and I encountered that bunch of low life, good thing the cops showed up or we might not survived that day.

If you mean you don't like Jews, I don't care. I was just clarifying the accent issue.

If you mean you don't like Jews,

What good have they done.

They have a high degree of in-group solidarity, so they do good for their own. Other groups should do the same.

lol! They know your ass is hooked. :D

Seriously though, the ingredients are pretty wacky. I have no doubt the expenses are going up legitimately. https://orderisda.org/culture/our-recipes/italian-dessert-recipe-to-die-for-cannoli-cake/ https://snappygourmet.com/cannoli-cake-recipe/

Cake Batter:

2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup unsalted butter softened
1 3/4 cups granulated sugar
3 large eggs
1 tablespoon fresh orange zest
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 1/4 cup milk

Frosting;

1 tub (10 ounces) ricotta cheese
1 tub (16 ounces) mascarpone cheese
3 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon fresh orange juice
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 bag (10 ounces) mini chocolate chips divided

So yeah, take it easy on that stuff. It's pretty much a saturated fat, spice, and carbohydrate delivery system made to get you hooked.

If you're even still going to go there, tell them the $3.50 price was where it seemed like a deal you would take. Or just say "i'll give you $3.50 for one of those."

Otherwise, there's no reason to be deliberately damaging your health with corporate desserts. Even the cannoli is not the best for you.

The reason this bakery owner kept raising the prices like this on me is because she likes being in control.

That, and you went back. If it's a tactic she uses as a sort of "discounts for new customers", it's a terrible strategy when the discount isn't explicit. Then it looks like they think you're a mark to be fleeced. Especially if it's $5 next time.

I do not think it is in the owners financial interests to keep playing with the prices like this. It pisses people off and how much extra money do they make as a result? - very little.

I disagree. I think you underestimate how weak and stupid the goyim are. Most will keep going back and the profit margin is presumably much higher at $4.50 than at $3.50 .
