Was the West's collapse a result of idolatry?

The enemies of the West are idolatry, satanism, and Judaism. But all of these have been around for a long time, so they can't have been the cause of the recent fall of the West. The fall was caused by Christianity failing as I explained here.

Funny how you blame the present deliberate destruction of the United States and The West on Christianity when it's clear to all truly intelligent people capable of thinking that it's actually MARXISM being foisted on the populations and the brainwashing and indoctrination of the young that is being foisted on everyone BY MARXIST OPERATIVES yet, it's odd that you blatantly avoid even the very mention of Marxism as the source for all of the destruction. It's true that idolatry has always existed, but maybe there were some conditions that were suppressing idolatry before, and then the conditions changed in such a way that permitted idolatry to flourish. For example, maybe if society is too wealthy, this allows idols to thrive. Most degenerate modern philosophies are descended from philosophies of people like Nietzsche, Feuerbach, Hegel - they flourished during or immediately after the industrial revolution.

I do not yet have a strong opinion about what I think caused the West to collapse.
