yeah i agree the matrix won't come true, simply too inefficient
but life, artificial included, is exponential, resource is constant. what happens then?

Resources on earth are limited. But resources are unlimited if you include the rest of the universe. When technology gets to the point that robots take over the earth, there will probably also be technology that allows humans to flee earth and colonize other planets.

sure, i mean one did not even harness earth's energy at this point. all matters can be turned into energy.
