Is your landlord American? Americans are intolerable scum and will always cause problems. So the main thing I would look for in your next apartment is a non-American landlord.

I just got another basement and told my current landlord I am leaving. The new basement I will be moving in to is larger, has a better layout, and it is cheaper. My new landlord is a Pakistani Muslim.
