Place a puzzle before a monkey.

If the monkey obediently and diligently works with whatever you give it, that is a high IQ monkey.
If the monkey plays with your puzzle a little and returns to doing its own thing, that is an average IQ monkey.
If the monkey doesn't like you and your puzzles, that is a low IQ monkey.

Places, where survival is hard, they require obedience, focus and planning, produce high IQ monkeys.
Places, where survival is easy, obedience there means death, they produce low IQ monkeys.

Perceptive.

IQ ≠ intelligence.

IQ is a result of certain evolutionary and civilizational processes. As conditions change, so do the set of traits that are adaptive.

High-IQ people had their role to play in building up civilization. Once the ruling elites complete their great reset, high-IQ western populations will be redundant, if not an outright nuisance to them. Hence, cultural subversion (notably resulting in reduced fecundity among high-IQ people), de-industrialization, unwanted mass immigration, pushing of various poisons, etc. All of these contribute to reducing average IQ, which is essential to creating the kind of society the rulers want.

I bet they will come up with a new yardstick for "intelligence", probably something like a social credit score. But instead of just rewarding obedient behavior, it will measure innate traits such as agreeableness, conformity, tolerance of boredom or confinement to small spaces, how much you enjoy eating bugs, etc.

A belly has fleshly walls, a planet has icy walls. These walls prevent stagnation, but may cause exhaustion. It's natural to breathe with the belly, but remember to keep it slow. Don't worry, even if our planet becomes too lazy, stagnation itself is a source of chaos.

But according to this study, Western countries like the US still have an IQ around 100 as they did in IQ literature published 20 years ago such as "IQ and Wealth of Nations". It is only non-Western countries that are dragging the global IQ down.

IQ is defined so that 100 is the average, but of what population and when, I don't know. If they adjust regularly using a western population, this would explain this.

Also, there is no reference to the source of that data, so I don't know if the way of measuring IQ has been consistent over time.
