Fair enough. A wild guess would be some CloudFlare fuckery. Their business model is literally a man in the middle attack/service and their network changes can result in SSL errors I've heard.

The site's owners could easily has messed something up, decided they wanted some other (cheaper) ssl than they had, clicked a wrong thing or messed up the install of data-collector honeytraptm .
