I would agree with this. The idea of a lot of bullets, and an auto loader is nice, but it's not a prerequisite to take out a lot of folks.

Remember the guy in Austin, Texas, who loaded up his plane with a few 55 gallon drums of fuel, and then flew into an IRS auxiliary building? I think his last name was Stack. Someone could also just steal a large semi fuel tanker as well, and placed properly would have considerable effect.

However, I digress, as far as guns, and long range accuracy, the sniper traditionally is one of the greatest moral tests of any troop. It wouldn't take long in a machine shop, with a little skill to fab a rifled barrel, and action for muzzle loading, then self made propellants....

I guess my point is, once a concept is out, it only takes a few to comprehend it, and duplicate it. Take the guns away, and you'll see the improvised stuff like exists across Europe today, with plans online.

So yeah, in my opinion we need to learn to live with the guns, and other things becoming more readily available with technology. To do this, I think it takes a free populace, trained in personal responsibility, and strong grasp of critical thinking skills.
