That's the plan. In the future the wage slaves will be thankful if they can serve the wealthy for a few crumbs of moldy old bread.

If jobs are so hard to come by why do we keep bringing in immigrants to do more jobs?
If jobs can't pay a reasonable wage, and we can't raise the wage, then what's left to do? Just wait forever? Wait until the labor pool finally contracts again, which will increase wages?

Americans hate liberty so much today that they would rather imprison Ron Paul than Obama or Bush.
Americans are so enslaved that they would rather spend more effort on censoring Libertarians than promoting freedom.

Life has become meaningless now that robots will soon do all the jobs, everything is illegal, everything that you buy will be used to track you, and the elites will end up with everything through fees, fines, forfeiture, inflation, and taxes.
The noose is getting tighter.
What will you do when you are forced to choose between death or living forever by downloading your memory onto a microchip and being tracked?

There is always a point where it goes too far. $15 is too much. But smaller hikes could have very little effect on jobs. Raising the minimum wage to $10 or $12 seems like a good idea.

"It is a fact today that one in ten thousand of us can make a technological breakthrough capable of supporting all the rest. The youth of today are absolutely right in recognizing this nonsense of earning a living." Buckminster Fuller

Why not set the minimum wage at $1000 per hour and rents at $10 per month? Free money!
Everyone knows that the USSR was such a huge success. What could go wrong?
