Concerning the health risks: You do have separate "raw meat", "milk" and "groceries" bags, don't you? So it's not that much of a deal. What do you mean you don't? Why not?
It's "obvious" stuff like this that people need to be taught. Sharing innovations that one person has with everyone is the whole point of the internet, after all.
