The yeast, that makes the strength of a beer, is also killed by the alcohol it makes. It sits in a pool of poison (the alcohol) that kills it. Historically, no one ever had any yeast that could make beer above 5%.

So, American beer isn’t weak. There’s also IPAs that get up to 16%.

American beer is standard.

As far as you personal preferences go, drink whatever you like. I also don’t like bud or coors, they suck.

Why would you speak so confidently when you don’t know anything?

If you want anyone to take you seriously, you should not run your mouth. Saidit is small, everyone’s going to remember you being stupid.

Ethanol toxicity is one of the major stress factors that undermine the fermentative capability of S. cerevisiae. Although yeast cells dispose of a complex, though not fully understood set of ethanol stress responses,1 increasing ethanol concentrations resulting from fermentation eventually lead to growth inhibition and cell death, limiting the viable titer and the fermentative output.
