There's no reason to suspect that's this is any different.

The old "create a fake to discredit the real" trick. Hardly as clevar as you think it is, and definitely not a valid excuse for the guys who had the laptop in their possession before it was leaked and know with 100% certainty that all of it is real.

The laptop's been done to death. Some of the stuff on it appears to be from Hunter Biden, some of it doesn't.

It looks like Hunter might be charged with tax evasion and with misrepresenting his addiction when buying a gun.

We've already seen shots of porno movies falsely claimed to be photos of Hunter. They weren't. I don't suspect that this is either. Law enforcement have had access to the alleged hunter laptop.
