The only way to eradicate fusarium is to rip out plants and sow other crops like corn or grains which are not susceptible to the fungus, the FAO says.

This reminds me of when millions of egg-laying chickens were killed because one hen tested positive for a disease.

The reason modern bananas (Cavendish) don't taste as good as the old ones (Gros Michel or Big Mike) is that a fungus (Panama Disease) wiped out most of the commercial banana plantations, so they engineered one that was resistant but it didn't taste as good. If you want to know what Gros Michel tastes like, eat some banana flavored candy.

There have been many attacks, as if it were a war that is not publicly declared. Other nations have also had their food supply attacked.

Beirut port blast destroyed grain silos

The adversary knows he can control people through the food supply. And many people will take the chip to fill their belly, but at the cost of their soul. Jesus warned us, and only he can save us.

OP what's your alternative way to eradicate the fungus?

Do you think it would be more or less damaging to the food supply if they left the infected plants in place
