1) I fail to see what this says about outing a vulnerable trans kid. Or anything about transexuality. It seems to be an (awkwardly stated) admonition against homosexual sex.

2) Most of what is in Leviticus 18 makes sense from a genetic diversity perspective. The only weird ones are verses 19 and 22. (Although 21 seems unlikely and out of context). But if you want to buy into that as law, do you also buy into the laws in the surrounding chapters? 17 is pretty clear that you should not eat blood, and must drain any blood from an animal beforehand. Do you follow that as vehemently as you hate gays, or are you picking and choosing what biblical verses you follow based on what you personally feel about them?

The clever choice of words and placement of the comma makes this more ambiguous; but do not be misled, because the actual wording is quite clear: "And with a male you shall not lie a woman's lyings." Even early moderns understood that this is sodomy, not gay. Being gay doesn't mean you have literal butt sex. And with the way Hebrew works, it could even be telling married men not to fuck men (the logic being that his lyings belong to his wife).
