Big Corp should lose their licenses when they're caught being corrupt. It's the only way to deal with corruption. Monetary compensation is always considered by these corrupt assholes merely the cost of doing business.

Murdoch worked out a long time ago that in a democracy if you control the beliefs of the people you can control the country.

It's a real vulnerability in the whole idea of people-power. It's a pity if it's only non-economic if there's a company who's business you're destroying, but it would be good if at least that much was the case.
