I was dating someone ten years older than this woman, she was 36, when I was 17. I have a really hard time seeing this as a horrible crime.

As the coach she took advantage of him. His brain is not fully developed and that power dynamic and familiarty have a huge effect. If he went to a party with more than 1 woman he would not have picked her to go talk to. If there were 50 women at that party she would likely be the last one he was interested in.

He is just young and too scared and inexperienced to approach girls his own age.

With that said, it's their life. I don't personally know them and so I recognize that my opinions on it are inharently ignorant to that extent.

Young girls these days are increadibly dumb, arcissistsic, entitled, and delusional. Why not have a good fling until he is older and can find a mature girl who is younger.
