I'm willing to bet that everyone on Reddit who was (rightly) outraged over this would think that a similar posting stating 'no whites' would be perfectly acceptable.

Has this been confirmed as real, either really posted or posted in seriousness?

Fake story, I'll bet. No hiring manager or HR crone will ever admit and be this sloppy. Obviously, they'd screen our ethnic names and other factors, and then when they see the person, they'd pull their offer.

In the story, it says that it was eventually figured out that a disgruntled ex-employee submitted the posting to the HR firm after he was fired and the company is suing him now.
