All the comments badically assume it was her child star up bringing to blame. But it sounds more like she was drugged and raped to me. Possibly given or sold dirty drugs to be taken advantage of.

If she had mental health issues there would be a lot of other signs. Not that I know her life, but why assume one thing and not consider another?

She has legitimate metal health issues unrelated to her child acting days, whether they were good or bad.

I think something so traumatic that would cause psychosis to someone so famous would have come to light by now. However, I don't know for sure. Her symptoms arising while in her early 20's are more likely to have been something that was there all along.
